sounds like a decent plan. Salvage title sucks for anything but a track/fun car.
 
I don't think ill have a salvage title.

Atleast that was what they told my dad.

Cuz his name is on the title, cheaper for insurance.
 
if they totaled your car out, then they will report it to DMV and you will need to brand it a salvage vehicle.
