Just need stuff like the bolt pattern, and torque specs, we are gonna take the head to a shop and port it and polish it, this car should come out nice, just need help from all the honda geniuses here :worthy:

hey look, this isnt me doin all this, its my brother, hes the genius for it, but were not going to make it a fast car...want it somewhat quick (like my escort) and very loud (like the neon and escort). We do sound competions Team Deep Vibrations...made it to finals...my brother took 3rd in the world. Nice huh. in a Civic it will slam even harder. only because its a h/b. put some 16 or 17 inch ROTA wheels on it, lower it. A show car that runs and is street legal. thats all we bought it for. we see it as a steal...it has low miles...needs a head gasket, all i wanna know is what i said in the first post...

rarely do you hear the term "genius" associated with someone who's going to port and polish a d15 head...

edit: seriously, there's no point man. d-series sucks for power. thats cool if you wanna make it a show car, but that forum is located here

C'mon guys give the guy some help...I would give you an answer if I had one...have never done it though so I'd be shooting in the dark.

Good luck :)

Get a manual. Make sure to repalce the headbolts, it became an OEM requirement for early years. Check for warpage, not only on the head (which the machine shop will do) but on the block. If it was run very hot it will warp the block too. This was the case for the last H22 that came in, the block was warped more than the head. Do not port and polish it. Get a few bolt ons. Use only Honda parts. Good luck.
