A friend of mine told me i should join this forum to answer most of my questions about my 01 honda civic. Now jus a lil info about my car. One it's not a V-tec ( i really wish it was) it has a 1.7L SOHC in it and i want to put a SOHC V-tec head on it where can i get one?

You'll more than likely be working with the Y8 head. Nice and clean install. You'll find everything you need in the reference section.

Post up your questions in the forums dedicated to your Chassis code, and you will get answers. Those forums don't move as quickly as the General forums, but they still move quickly.

D17s are different I believe(oil/coolant holes don't line up). Go for a straight Y8 or Z6 swap.

That's the thingi don't want to do a whole motor swap i want to just change my head, do they make a vtec head swap for a D17A1 motors?

head from a D17A2 and the rest should be pretty much the same as an older D series mini-me setup
