That is very disturbing. I wouldn't waste 25K on that POS!

Now the S7... that's a different story!

The S7 is a piece of shit. End of story. Get a Zonda for the same price and kill it.

Oh, this is a Saleen Focus thread...Okay, it doesn't compare to the old cosworth version or even the AWD model in England/Europe.

If Saleen wants to earn respect they should bring the AWD over for the focus to america.

I see a big ass lawsuit coming out of this due to 1 of the many cars made having a bottle blow up

I don't care if its not hooked up from the dealership

they imply using N20 there for in a court case unless you sign a waver they will lose

the s7 is fookin bad ass! anyway, the v8 focus is the only one id own.

The focus is a big pile of shit !!!

There is a rally group trying to get ford to take the focus off the production line to do accidents caused by malfunctions and defects. There has been cases of wheels just falling off, engines falling out, airbags opening, etc .........

The one cool thing they have going is that it is nitrous ready. I think manufacturers should do the same but with other things like an amp ready setup for an amp and sub !!!!

wow, i dont think they ladeled enough buckets of ghey on that thing.

Hahahahahah :p :p

IT's cool, the attention to detail is nice, but it's reminiscent of the 1976 Mustang Cobra. Yeah, it came from Shelby studios, but not one mechanic even drove it. It's a graphic design department production, and it was made just for sake of making one.

And you talk about Escorts and Zondas beating this.. With some CF and a motor swap, my Civic would eat this car in every aspect - including looks.

Well geez I don't fuckin know. :p

Rip off the n20 badges and no one is the wiser I guess. :shrug2:

rip the n20 stickers off and you have a regular focus.

This is kinda like the whole Type R thing just on a new level of rice.

Fuck that ride, for 25k, have to be kidding me.

for an extra 1k you can have an Evo

Ford once again:

Evo: 26k
AWD
low 13's stock
tons of aftermarket potential for the 4g63 motor
better styling
better braking
fuck, jsut a better car

For 25 k you could have a wrx or RSX-s. Or you could put 25k into a civic lol

Whereever you're finding a 26k EVO let me in on teh secret...new they start at 30k.

For 26k you could get a WRX that is mildly optioned.

I'd rather have an SVT if I HAD to have one, it at least has a 6 speed.

in that case get a Sentra Spec V or a Tiburon GTV6, both those have 6 speeds and the 180+ foot lbs of torque that's already produced will murder an SVT when mildly modified.

The evo RS (something like that) starts at around 26 or 27k. Basicly it is like a type R version of the evo 8. No zenons, no PS, AC, sound deadning material, powerwindows, power mirrors, sunroof, wing, and a few other things, plus it comes with a limit slip diffrential for the front. On the stock version it has a limited slip in the rear, and open diff in the front.

revolution8k- did you see the Saleen focus in the bacement of the show? It was blue.

Alot of the companys are doing this now. Infact, Saleen has been doing it for years on other cars. Basicly because when you just offer stuff for one car, that limits your sales. You can buy performance stuff for explores, and other ford products through saleen.

Roush (sp) is the same way, however, they sale to other companys other then ford. I have seen one or two GM products that have been modified by Roush. Infact, about half of Roush's income is from other ventures with non mustang cars.

yeah man, if you go on the Saleen site the have an Explorer on there along with the rest of their lineup. The big difference between Saleen and Rousch is that Saleen is either part of Ford, or partners or something, but they are basically more affiliated with only Ford now. Rousch on the other hand is a totally separate company that buys mustangs and mods them, kinda like Lingenfelter, or Yenko.

Plus they are cheeper.

My car would beat up on the nawz fuckass.

The Evolution RS was just track tested by SCC in the latest issue.

EVO 8: w/ sunroof, infiniti sound system and leather interior: 3331 lbs
EVO 8 w/ carbon fiber spioler: 3263 lbs

RS: 3175
RS w/ urban jungle package: 3197

The lightest EVO you can get is one and three quarters C note over 3k lbs. Not bad, but still hefty. But it does cut about 3k off the base price of the EVO. So you get a car that's just as quick as the STi for roughly the same price of a slightly optioned WRX. Not too bad Mitsu...

asmall- The only saleen focus I saw was the one of the pic I showed which was right at the entrance of the show... :(
