New time

    I went to test n tune early , gates opened up at 4:30, i left at 6:25 my friends stayed. Anyway last friday i got brand new kuhmo ectas. I also installed a new aebs intake manifold , and my old mods i/h/e, act clutch and fidanza flywheel. My new setup i ordered from various companys isnt here yet. Anyway i got 4 runs in

    First is the worst

    1/8th 10.7 (missed 3rd)
    1/4 15.93@86=WEAK

    2nd

    1/8th 9.0
    1/4 14.0@98

    3rd

    Last and best , launched at 3400, feathered it , got traction , then dropped and HOOKED

    Going to walmart 2morrow to get the slips on disks so i can upload em . I finally found my best launch , launch at 3-3500 instead of 4500 and feather the clutch then drop it. Runs were in a 90 DX, fully gutted it this mornin for the track, mods include i/h/e aebs intake manifold , act clutch , and full race suspension. Im lovin it.

    Hey nice times you must be pleased.

    Where did you go to the test'n'tune?

    When you launched at 3k or 3.5k and feathered the clutch, im guessing you were able to achieve minimal wheelspin and no bogging down? What RPM did you finally just let off the clutch and drop the hammer?

    The first (and only) time i went to the track i ran 15.6 @ 89 lol, crappy time (intake/exhaust) -> i was launching at 4.5k and just poping the clutch (and getting wheelspin).

    im not really sure what rpm i hooked up , i got some spin , but im guessin around 5 or 6 it grabed. What engine/car did u run a 15.6 with.
