so havent been here in a very long time but just yesterday i traded my eg hatch for a crx si. shell for shell. long story short i have an lsvtec that was in the eg. its gunna go in to the crx with an s1 cable tranny. what i need to know is what motor mounts to use? combo of crx/teg? all teg? this is being done cheep so used mounts and poly inserts is my plan. im pretty sure the ones i have for the eg wont work. lmk

your gonna need a set of hasport or maybe innovative b series swap mounts for the ef doood...but at least you have a cable trans and theyll be cheaper. i have a hydro gsr trans and my hasport mounts were $485

thanks for the help but are you sure that you cant use 90-93 teg mounts? i feel this site is a lil more useful than "this guy i know" but what im hearing form the streets is just like an eg the teg equivilant mounts work. 400+ is way out of the ? im lookin cheap options like stock mounts with poly inserts. has any one done this? i cant b so smart were im the first to think about this lmk

The DA Integra mounts are too large for the EF's IIRC. Even the JDM CRX SiR's won't work. Only thing you can use with the stock mounts, IIRC, is the DA Integra rear transmission bracket.

You're going to have to use custom mounts, since you're on a tight budget search craigslist, ebay, etc. I found some used Yonaka b-series mounts when I first did my swap, they last to 300HP.
