i own a 96 civic dx hatch here in italy and i am looking to do an engine swap. i went to the hunk yard recently and found a d16v1 engine from an ep2. will this be a suitable swap or if not what is needed to make it work?

not worth it, get something worth swapping, like a b18. those swaps are pretty cheap and don't cost to much, d16y8 motors work pretty good to and those are dirt cheap. good luck
