Hey guys im new here, im looking at swaping my d15 to a d16 but what all do i need to change i know itll bolt right up to my tranny and wiring harness but do i need to change the ecu? the d15 is a non vtec so if i get a vtec d16 do i need to change the ecu?

Yes you need to change the ECU in order for the car to run properly and for VTEC to function.

You can't add pictures until you are out of the greenhorn stage. The only way is to go host them at an image site - photobucket, imageshack, etc and then link here.

The D16 ain't got no VTEC. But, yes the ECU will need to be changed for it to run correctly and not limp along.

^ Well that is true, the Y's & Z's do have VTEC - must have been thinking about dual cams...
