just what I need!!! 06 Kawasaki ZX-6R 636. In some senses it's a step down from the R1, but in others it blows the Yamaha away...top speed isn't quite as high, and straight-line acceleration isn't as great, but I'm not concerned about either of those. It's fucking NIMBLE as fuck, quick as hell in corners...and, strangely, it wheelies easier too...I'm in love with it.

sorry for the shitty pics, it's been monsooning all day...

I already removed the stock mudflap from the rear, and took off the 'ZX-6R' decals shortly after I took these photos...I'm thinking that I'm going to go ahead and completely de-badge it tomorrow. I'm also going to pull the front blinkers as soon as I get some flushmounts, and get some blockoff plates for the mirrors (I've never ridden with mirrors...they give a false sense of what's around you IMO).

ZX6/ZX10 IMO have (for me) the best damn seating layout. I love how they feel.

    Nice buy.

my old roommate has a 2006 636 limited. the silver one with flames. i liked riding it, but i like my 2007 R6 better. I just wish I could get that color. that is my favorite kawi color by far. lots of parts available to.

Great buy on that Ninja, I love the 600s. But the single inlet up front I think destroys the look.

Welcome to the Ninja club !

My friend has a 99 Daytona 675 for sale. SICK throttle response, very smooth actions. tires still have stickers, and the brakes and clutch are brand new. $4000 for it, in CT.

:werd: the seat doesn't slope forward like most bikes, so it doesn't push my nuts into the tank...that, and it's cushiony as hell. The R1's seat was like sitting on a cinder block.

I looked at an 07 R6 before I bought this one...they're just too tiny feeling...I think it's mostly the tail that does it...

I like the single inlet from the front, but it does look a bit awkward from the side...kind of like a beak or something.

    :werd:

    nope.
I would've loved to find a 675...those things are sweet as hell, and they're...what...like a foot wide? I know they're super fuckin' narrow

    no, that wasn't sarcasm.

I seriously would love to get my hands on a 675...I remember an article in Sport Rider when the new one came out last year, and it had a shot of the bike on its side (the 'test rider' laid it down) and it was SOOOO narrow...I don't think it even came up to his knee
