so i have a spare valve cover that i need to get some AN fittings welded on for a catch can setup. the question is what color to do it in before it goes on the car? i really cant decide if i want to keep it simple or do something funky. any ideas for me? heres the valve cover i have on there now... http://i75.photobucket.com/albums/i319/mdpsjcars/car pics/turboteg008.jpg heres the one that i will be modifying and refinishing.... http://i75.photobucket.com/albums/i319/mdpsjcars/car pics/teg03-14-10003.jpg
Do you have a trim color? IE, something inside that's painted, or differently colored anything or is it all white and black?
yeah i was thinking of going with something red again. any other input or opinions welcome. the interior of the car has a red and black theme...
gold to match the wheels? its a thought. i need to research if there are any local powdercoaters around me...
wrinkle black the areas that are currently silver on the valve cover now wrinkle red the areas that are currently red or spay the whole valve cover with a silver color then do the same color scheme with a translucent "candy" red and a "candy" black and make it look anodized
Hf has powder coaters for like 60 bucks....... I was thinking of getting one just to play around with....... 60 bucks is pretty good deal....... Just a thought
The gold looks good and I would try to match the rims. since your hood will be up and it will be matching.
