No Acceleration @ High Speeds

There is no acceleration after the reaches over 50 mph and there is a ticking in what seems to be the 1st cylinder. Other than this the engine has pep through town, and isn't smoking hardly at all. I just bought the car from a friend for cheap after it was stolen and taken for a joy ride a couple times. I already another Civic with the same 1.5L and it had the same things going on with it just before it went south.

well it is a 1.5l EF did you expect it to have acceleration at high speeds
