3:10 was a great flick. i was MF'ing the bastard when he shot him. lol
transformers was decent. without megan fox, it would have sucked. her abs kept me entertained more than anything

i look at it like lost hgihway... or muholland drive.
i've seen both probably 10 times each, and i still don't know wtf happened.... yet, i'm compelled to keep watching it again to maybe try and figure it out.

i'm glad i can agree with you on that one. 3:10 was great. not the perfect ending, but still kicked ass.

i guess these days to be a good movie, it has to have a shitty ending.

No Country > There Will Be Blood by far!! There will be blood was the biggest waste of 2 & 1/2hours of my life. It was so friggin boring and just never went anywhere I felt.

No country took a time or 2 to like the movie but it was good. I just dont get why he brought the mexican guy a jug of water after he took the loot. Just dumb if you ask me. You got the money.....you got away.....GOOD. Stay away!

the mexicans killed moss. i dont know where you got that anton killed him. it was pretty obvious that the mexicans did it as it showed them shooting, then peeling off in their truck away from the scene, and then it shows moss dead.

Damn. I totally spaced, and you're 100% right. I saw it once in the theatre at midnight opening day, and once but i fell asleep.

I agree on there will be blood. I don't know why he killed elijah, after he made him renounce his faith. I didn't get it. But I do feel that it was necessary for him to die. It was the coming for his outlandish claims for being a profit and for the ridicule he incurred on his followers and his father for them trying to produce an asset on their property.

watch "Death Proof" ... it has a perfect ending
watching 2 hours of rosario dawson bounce around with no bra was good enough for me. she could have been hit by a train and eaten by clowns for all i care. ^_^

and another thing that annoyed me about NCFOM is the fact that i didn't know who anton was. was he a hitman (found out later), the main drug dealer retrieving his money, or some random guy who knows about it.

When woody is talking to the one guy about him they kinda go into it. Its a lil vague with all the details but still a cool movie.

Nick, I have a feeling you really liked the scene in Casino Royale when they play poker for an hour.

But they do spell everything out that happens.

edit: Im just f'in with ya a bit. NCFOM could be your kryptonite as Fear and Loathing was to me. It took me three times to even make it through that and not fall asleep, but then I finally saw it all and was rewarded in some twisted way. Just make sure you're in the mood to watch it and give it another chance - I'm guessing the plot will come together (although it wont be as packaged as something like National Treasure).

I agree with TommyTheCat.

First time I saw Fear and Loathing, I didn't get anything from it at all. 2nd time, pretty tipsy, I loved it, something just clicked for me.

Donnie Darko is that way for me. I have seen it a few times and I am still not 100% sure as to what the hell is going on.

fear and loathing is fucking awesome... love that movie... its on my watch regularly list... and i pick out more stuff every time i watch it

donnie darko is another great movie... love the movie but i cant watch it too often... it fucks my head up for hours after watching it

Yeah I dont understand that movie at all but I still really like it. And WTF is up with the rabbit thing, it still creeps me out.

I hated Donnie Darko and it got it because it was supposed to fit into my theme of "thinking movies"/psychological thriller. I only watched it once and I absolutely couldn't stand the movie.

We watched No Country and really didn't get it either. We were trying to figure out what the point of the movie was I guess. And if the movie was so in depth, why use the rivot gun (or whatever it was) instead of an ordinary gun. It could have been a good thriller, I didn't think the acting was too bad, they should have made the plot better and more understandable.
