I have a 94 ex coupe with a frankenstein Si head on a gs-r block....is it correct that the short ram intake (aem i think with heat tape around it) has no hoses at all coming from it to the engine...its just the intake going right to the manifold...but no hoses..how come my older car with a cold air intake had a hose and not this one?

Well you should have a hose that runs from the valve cover to the intake, This lets burnt gases to be passed back though the system. If there isn't a nipple on the pipe just put a breather filter on the valve cover.
