I was thinking about trashing my old yellowish stock headlight bulbs and was wondering what was out there that throws a nice bright white light but will last as long as the stock bulbs. I was thinking about the Sylvania Silverstar headlights but was wondering about the lifespan and if the light they give off is significantly whiter and brighter. If anyone has anymore recommendations/experiences itd be much appreciated.
 
Yup, get those or the PIAA Platinum Superwhites. I've been very happy with both types of bulbs. The PIAAs can be had in higher wattages than standard and are brighter than the Silverstars, but they're harder to find (I order all of mine from a friend) and they're a bit more expensive too.
 
i have the silverstars on right now and they are much better than stock and the light given off is a bright white.
 
silverstars hands down - i love mine and they even come with a certificate of being legal.
