So I read the 5th gen Auto to Manual Swap post, and everything went great as far as the install, but have some technical concerns. . .
1. What is done with the wires left hanging on the shifter after doing the clutch, reverse, and ignition switch wires?
2. Since my car was a non-Vtec, I went to look for an ECM, and I read somewhere that you can just disconnect the TCU, but I noticed some auto cars (94-97) had a TCU and others didn't, even with the vtec models... so I'm not sure what ecu to get and which will work. . . I have a 96 vtec. My Accord auto, no tcu, other car same year, tcu, so I'm lost...
