Hello,

I have the chance to get a hold of a 94 civic DX hatchback 5 speed for next to nothing.

I was curious as to what year/type engine can into that model with a pre fabbed harness conversion...
I have been looking at the B16A SiR II but do they make a harness for this type of swap and if they do, is there one for USDM and JDM???

Any help would be greatly appreciated. :)

you can purchase the harness that you're talking about there-

in all honesty though, almost every swap into the 5th generation civic platform you're purchasing is fairly straightfoward- with the exception of the H series motors, which rea

you're only talking about adding a wire for vtec, knock sensor, and/or IAB's depending on the motor you choose

http://www.hasport.com/Tech/Hasport%20Swaps.htm

that page is a graph of all the different swaps you can do with your car and what Hasport parts you'll need for it- but understand that you may not need a lot of their parts to do some of those swaps- In fact, a fair amount of swaps into your chassis require only the use of some stock mounts from your car and the motor

once you decide on a specific motor get back to us and we'll let you know exactly what's entailed, what you'll need to change, modify, etc

Do it. You can put just about any b-series engine in there. For most of the swaps you don't even need a harness just run a few wires for vtec. You will need mounts, axles and shift linkage for which ever motor you decide to go with.
