NYC has a funky odor, sensors 'don't know" what it is (Bullshit, those sensors can detect anything)

Austin Texas finds dead birds along a 10 block stretch.

Reported as Coincidence .

hrm, all 3 that are online are idle for over an hour........

strange, seeing as its work time....

where's cash?

The odor isn't defined as dangerous (No reports of anything yet). But what gets me is that their sensors "can't identify" it. Bullshit.

pissedoffsol: whats going on down there?
Auto Response from ksafs: I am online, but may be away from my computer right now.
ksafs: i am pretty freaked out
ksafs: it stinks...my office is in the center of it
pissedoffsol: ha, wtf is it
ksafs: a gas leak they think
ksafs: i could smell it all the way in queens
pissedoffsol: does it smell like natural gas?
ksafs: it smells like burning tires
ksafs: and it's making me very nervous
ksafs: even though bloomberg said it's ok
pissedoffsol: burning tires? you mean, it smells like new jersey?
ksafs: ha!
ksafs: it's actually not coming from jersey like they originally thought
ksafs: a bunch of the subways closed down and some offices have been evacuated

I was down there friday....maybe it lingered this time...

I'm sure the gas isn't harmful - but I'm also sure that Austin on the same day isn't a coincidence. And they are being VERY "second page" about Austin.

Well, for Flagstaff, whenever you open the doors on a semi coming from Mexico, you get that smell.

Could you imagine if this happened the last month of 2001 ? We would be in underground bunkers right now.
