hey...I got a civic vx,my o2 sensor was broken so i bought a new one at ebay. But the problem is my old O2 sensor got 5 wieres, and the new one that i got from ebay only got 4,it says on ebay that the o2 sensor should support my Honda civic vx whit d15z1 motor. SO what can i do,should i send it back or rewire the new sensor?

you can't rewire the new sensor. VX require the expensive NTK L1H1 wideband sensor which will cost you in excess of $135. You can pretty much swap a new motor in there or deal with it. There is no way to make the 4 wire work.

You could get a DX motor for cheaper than the O2 sensor probably and its only a couple hours more work.

But I think he's right, you might be able to buy another ECU so it would be able to process a 4/3 or 1 wire O2 sensor, but it probably wouldn't be worth it.
