got a 2000 b18b and i never really thought there would be a problem but its obd2b and my car is a 96 hatch which is obd2a. Now im pretty sure all the plugs are the same on the motor but will the obd2b dizzy and injectors work with my obd2a ecu?

I don't think you'll have a problem running it with an OBD II ECU, as long as it's for the motor, like a 97 LS.
 
No there will be no problem use your harness and get a obd2a ecu and all should be good. There is a extra wire in your harness at the dizzy on the motor harness side that you don't use. It goes to the test tach point on the driver side of the engine bay.
