Misplaced. It isn't the classic flaws of capitalism. Capitalism swooped in and kicked these peoples asses.

It is the classic flaws of HUMANITY such as umm, what is it called......GREED, and uhh, PRIDE, and uh...umm...MATERIALISTIC SOCIETY.

It's people being stupid as usual and government intervention trying to make things "fair" for everyone. It is NOT capitalism.

And how is that? Please explain one thing that Obama has said he is going to do that is going to fix the economy. Please name one accomplishment that Obama has under his belt that leads you to believe he has a solution.

On another board I frequent there are a few threads asking the Obama voters to explain in deatil what Obamas plans are, and how they are going to help. Obama voters avoid these threads like the fucking plague because Obama is an empty suit that spewed feel good rhetoric, and has no experiance, and no plan. Anyone that thinks "trickle up" economics are going to work is a fucking moron, and needs to digest some reading about Carter and his miserable failure.

The market crash is because a bunch of people decided to buy a bunch of stuff (Ex. Houses) on a credit line while not being able to afford it. It is the classic flaws of capitalism and it has happened in the past. Also the banks are also a bunch of idiots for lending out so much money without thinking..."Hmm what would happen if people couldn't pay their mortgage payments, ect." But thats just my 2 cents^_^

And can you tell me which lawyer sued a bank for racism because they denied poor people loans that could not afford to pay back a loan? I'll give you a hint, his name starts with an B, and his middle name is Hussein. Gee what a good plan, if they banks are being responsible, sue, and harrass them until they aren't, wow, what a great guy.
 
Ya, it's never poor people being greedy and ignorant. It's the bank's fault. This country has no sense of personal responsibility.

and no, i'm not moving. it's my country. people like me and my forefathers made it the land of opportunity by working their asses off. i can guarantee the great grandfathers of today's hippy liberal douche bags are turning in their graves knowing how hard they fought for life and now everybody is pushing socialism and equality.

I am definitely not a big fan of socialism myself...actually I very much dislike it but what do you think is the best answer then?...do you know how hard it would be to sway from a socialist view...everyone would be complaining about their violated rights....you would pretty much have to instate a government that uses force to change it (My understanding of the political spectrum)....and thats not the best either. I think were screwed

Ok but then you have to change your constitution which would take only a miracle.
 
The essence of that document holds true today.

A few opinions have changed, such as land owners being able to vote, women's suffrage and the like. But I can see the reasoning behind a lot of the original constitution and bill of rights.

It's still a pertinent document.
