obd b18c issues

little back story really fast, i have a obd1 95 civic i swapped a B18c obd1 gsr into it and i'm running an obd1 p72 ecu. every thing's great except a code 9 . i was told iacv which i installed a new one...still had code, then i was told crank angle postion sensor which is in the dizzy. before i put down more cash would changing the dizzy help? i've turned to those who have swapped more than i. this was my first and i'm going insane. thanks so much for your time.

9 is crank angle sensor/cyl position (cyp). It is in the dist. If you have a freind with one, swap for a bit to see if it clears it up on your car, and breaks his in the process.
