obd0 & obd1 distributors

    what is the difference between a obd0 and obd1 distributor. other than the plugs

    i couldn't tell you the details in electronic engineering terms, but distributors operate on a pulse... much like the speed sensor in the tranny does.
    the pulse is different between them, and so are obd1/0 ecus. so you can't mix/match them.

    obd1 and 2 are the same.

    so, the obd1 and obd2 distributor are same?

    I think he saying that operate on the same principle, and OBD1 and OBD2 are not interchangeable (w/o modification)
