obd0 to obd1

I just got the conversion harness, i wasn't sure but do i have to hook up every wire(vtec solenoid signal,vtec pressure switch signal,knock sensor signal) or just the o2 sensor and the distributor?

I have a obd0 to obd1 harness in my car and there is some wires that I dont use like knock sensor wire, IAB wires (p72/p75 computers only), yes you need to hook up the vtec wires
