obd1-obd2 harness question?

hi im swapping a JDM obd1 b16 into a 97 civic lx. what kind of harness should i use? will a obd1 ex single cam harness work or should i get a obd1 del sol duel cam harness? is there a difference between the two? a friend also says that i can use a obd2 ex harness and get a converter, but i will have to swap sensors and splice wires to make it work...please help

Here's what I did, my motor came with a harness but it was cut. I used the sensors on my cut harness and spliced them into my 2000 cx harness. Then I used a converter harness. It's fairly simple. Your '97 so you'll need the OBD2A to OBD1 harness.
