Alright, I found a good deal on a LS complete swap, it is obd2. (and I got the SI OBD 1 sol)

My question is wireing. What is it going to take to get this thing in my car. Should I just run a OBD1 LS ECU and basicly have a plug and play from there, or is there more too it?

List everything that I am going to have to do. Do I have to run any new wires. Take out old ones?
 
Thats it? Since my car has a tach do I still need to add one or is that only on 5th gens with no tach?
 
yup.

and also, obd2 b18's have a weired pcv valve if memory serves.... bill ended up just plugging the whole for his with silicone or something. im not sure why. can't remeber. motor was obd1, but the VC was obd2. i think the obd1 ls's don't have a pcv...
 
What is VC?

So basicly this swap will just be all about unbolting and bolting things, nothing with electronics? Sweet.


I dont have to change any sensors do I?
