its a bit more complicated than that, heres a basic discrption of why you can't, the pre obd (obd0) injectors run off the resistor box and the obd1 and 2 do not run off the resistor box and instead are controlled through the ecu (on a p28 A1,A2,A3,A4?), so in order to run obd 1 injectors basically you would have to convert your car to grey plug (obd1) which would require a jumper harness (about 125) an obd 1 ECU, like a p28 (150), a 4 wire o2 (like 400) an obd 1 or 2 vtec distributor (250+) and the clips and injectors, so unless you want to buy all that and do the wiring required the answer is no, and just buy some obd 0 injectors to fit your car
