obd1 z6 ecu w/ y8 motor

just got a 90 civic with a d16y8 in it and wondering if i can use a ecu from obd1 car and the car will run vtec

Did the car run when you bought it? If someone already did the OBD0 to OBDI coversion, then yes. Youll need an OBDI P28 ECU. It should be pretty easy to find too, since it came in all the OBDI SOHC VTEC cars.

run the right ecu, get a obd0 to obd2a conversion harness and get a obd2a p2p
