Obd2 Ecu With A Obd1 Engine

Ok here is the deal I have a 1998 Civic Coupe and I installed a B18A1 into it, well I have a OBD2 ECU for a B18B1 from a 96 Integra Engine, and I was wondering should I use that and would it be ok on my B18A1 engine since they are almost identical engines, or should I get a OBD2 to OBD1 conversion harness and use my OBD1 ECU. Any help is certainly appreciated thanks

same motor,same ecu, just use 96 teg ecu, and save your money instead of buying a harness adapter.-paul

yup- plug in the b18b ecu.... but, you might have a problem with the distributor and injectors
