I've got a 99 EK9 and plan to swap in a JDM ITR B18C. My questions are: 1) Is it true that I will need to use a OBDIIB -> OBDIIA conversion harness (since the B18C is OBDIIA and my EK9 is OBDIIB)..i'm guessing i need it 2) I currently have an aftermarket immobilizer in my car. Does this have to be removed in order to do the swap or can I leave it connected to the harness while the swap occurs? I've tried doing a search but I'm not really finding the answers I need.
