I've been going out constantly this year since Jan, and with the warm weather...the bite from last year has been faster. I've already got plenty of striped bass to feed a village, and will still get more. This location has to wait for other fish to migrate to, but the Northeast Tautog "blackfish", just started april 1st, and the weather kept me off the water or it was too cold for them to feed.... But today, the tides changed...literally...went from high tide to slack...and the black fish started to bite...and the first fish landed would beat my record from last year by 1/2 an inch. Followed by more large blackfish... going for more fish all year. Blackfish, Bluefish, Striped bass, and I even have ambitions to get a shark or two. 3 fish 1 worm - YouTube 3 fish one worm...windy and cold.
