Soviet SU-37...? You commie. Get the fuck outta my country.

^_^

Commie plane or not - its balls out :).

That plane has sexier curves then yo mama!

Add to that 3d Thrust Vectoring & rear firing missiles, and you got yourself one badass plane.

Too bad Sukhoi is on the list of companies the US Government "refuses to do business with". Reason: Supplying Iran with weapons . . . .

Its funney - the USSR government is too poor to even buy those planes - much less pay the company for R&D expenses.

my luck the batteries in the remote would die as I sent it subsonic...and it flies out of range, then crashes into so rich lawyers house and breaks his plasma tv. :(

More pics of the ones I've built...I love showing them off...I wish there were more pics online of the ones I've helped build...

damn, come to think about it... Every S-92 since aircraft 6 to the one we have in the hanger...aircraft 52...I've helped with...

and every S-76 from aircraft 590 to aircraft 652, which 652 is in the hanger right now...I've done work to. I wish I could put the same work I do to aircraft to my cars, but when I get home, I'm dead beat.

I've lost count of all the blackhawks and seahawks I've worked on... :( Or how many blade tips I've made, or how many carbon fiber plies I've cut... I even made 3 glare shields... :)

I do know Sikorsky gets their money's worth out of my ass... Even though on some nights there's nothing to do, I finish the work needed and jump on the computer to post whore...

you got to say...the pressure located where..... ;)

air intake, cabin, wing top, leading edge, under the wing...too many places to measure pressure...

total pressure = stagnation pressure. doesnt matter where it is, nose of the plane, LE of the wing/tail surfaces, wherever.

I actually dig thistype of whoring because I'm leaving to go for Basic soon and after that start studying....alot.... to be an Avionics Technician. What can I say, I'm doing what comes naturally to a Gadget-Geek..

...When I was 6, I pulled apart 3 alarm clocks because I wanted to see how they worked..... You'd think by the first one my old man woulda gotten smart and bought me some effin' TOOLS!^_^ ....

bump...

this is a kick ass thread and it needs to keep going. When I was 12 I got to ride in a mig-21. I will remember that forever. I live in Dayton, Ohio near Wright Pat AFB. C-5's fly over daily at about 1000' and its cool as hell. The occasional F-15 does a low flyover through the city every once in awhile early in the morning.
