watched the ESPN one.. what a weaksauce fight.. . 4-5 punches and its over.. the intro for the guys walking to the octagon was longer than that fight
yea thats all it is with the you tube one, but its 8min long but still those were the first punches of the fight

lol, uh, that stuff was announced during the event last night lol
i meant the 45 day medical suspension.

it was annoying because of the casino i was in was split black/white dudes. of course the brothers were rooting for rampage and they were all drunk and obnoxious. it was like fucking mayweather/de la hoya. anything were race is separate it gets annoying.

im glad to see ice man go down, he has some heavy hands but I dont think he is either A) as entertaining as jackson or B) a better all around fighter

I want to see another Arona type slam in the octagon

and henderson Jackson would be a good fight but henderson would take that one, If that fight goes down would it be in the octagon and have a chance for henderson to hold 3 titles in 2 organizations? that would be badass

:werd:

I knew it was over as soon as Lidell broke the eye contact! Jackson got him in the jaw and down he went... think Lidell was more shocked than anything. Jackson had his number though, Lidell was out cold by the 3rd punch.

i was watching pride fc before the ufc fight and the bald commentator (not sure who he is) looks like kurt angle and he said "liddell has heavy hands and jackson will need to take this to the ground to stay in the fight. i see this a split decision after 5 rounds."

he couldn't have been more wrong.

chuck was intimidated

and this is what happens when your opponent knows he has the best of you

Yep. Should've had his hands up. But look at how much faster Rampage punches than Chuck. Like greased lightin' Rock, greased lightin'!
rampage said the UFC should have given him more fights to show what he can do.

UFC is the new drifting. the new bandwagon sport. nobody knows the origins of UFC anymore. they know joe rogan and spiketv. yet another interest i have that is going to get ruined by commercialism.

some people just cant beat other people this is twice liddell fought rampage the first time liddels corner threw the towel and the second he got k.o'ed reminds me of ortiz vs liddell

The way I saw it was that Rampage capitalized on a huge flaw in Chuck's defense. The almost complete lack of one.
chuck is like that in all of his fights though. i bet rampage watched video of his old fights. everybody know that after your combo you put your hands up, chin down, and watch for a counter.

chuck wanted the knockout so bad he was over reaching. thats how he was off balance and couldn't get out of rampage's reach.

when rogan interviewed him right after the fight he said "he caught me with one " after he repeatedly said before the fight he was gonna knock rampage out in the first round murphy's law played into chucks demise he never took that into cosideration

same thing Rampage says and I agree. Not only is it going to get ruined by jackasses, people are gonna get burned out on it also. As much as I love watching it for free on Spike, they really need to cut it down some.

i remember watching the first UFCs, back when Gracie owned all

^^ lol, that was funny. I knew he would get pissed off and toss some people out.. you just dont do that, especially the oportunity they are being given. Dumbasses.

The thing about Jackson, he just comes at you and comes at you, he doesnt stop. Much like what Chuck normally does, but jackson just got the better of him.

The old ufc was sick, no weight classes, no gloves... real fighting. :) they need a PPV special to where it goes back to old rules and a tournament style championship thing. Id buy that.

I'd probably actually pay for that. :D

Yeah, as soon as that younger dude started talking smack I was like, "oh shit, here it comes". I can't believe he sucker punched dude TWICE. I agree that the older dude was pretty annoying but he had a point. He didn't get his ass kicked, he got caught with a lucky rear choke and went out like a man instead of tapping. A loss is loss, but he won the street fight. Even taking a round kick to the chin while not expecting it. As soon as I watched the first episode for this season I knew someone was going to get kicked out for fighting. It reminds me of a street mentality where the younger generation feels the need to prove that they're crazier and more hardcore. I think Dana White did the right thing, not only for the show but for the UFC.
lol did you even see what happened? it all fell apart for him as soon as they engaged and he ate a right hand with his temple...

Also, I believe Nate Diaz is the biggest low-key instagator(sp?) on that show. He said "yo Marlon, say something to Noah" it was all down hill from there. It doesn't sound like a big deal but what did anyone else expect? it only takes a small spark to start a fire.

Almost forgot, the old UFC was fun to watch but the new sanctioned UFC, IMO, is more enjoyable to watch. The new UFC is showing that MMA is a sport with disciplined athletes and they are trying to shed the skin of the old UFC that was/is dubbed "human-cock fighting"

Had Chuck prepared for this fight by changing his style just a little to throw Jackson off
I disagree... if you can find a link to the fight (they are all down for copyright lol) watch what happens... chuck tries a left hook body shot from the outside... i don't care who you are, you don't do that lol 9 out of 10 people can't throw that punch and get there hands back up fast enough lol especially against a fast puncher like Rampage, like you said earlier.
