The fiance is Japanese AND an accountant, so it's the perfect storm of frugality (read: cheapness). She'd only let me get her one gift so I got her a nice new winter coat. For me, she paid for my upcoming school semester .

Also got a USB thumbdrive (I'm making a neat universal boot drive with it that will have Hiren's Boot CD, persistent Ubuntu, and the Windows 7/Windows XP install disks all in one), a bunch of clothes, and a whole bunch of bags of Reece's Peanut Butter Cups (it was on my list!!).

We had our second christmas with my parents this past saturday. The boy ended up with two more boxes of gifts and I got the picture book that goes along with Restrepo titled Infidel. I also got Glenn Becks Broke. My old man bought me a set of Bose headphones some sweet ass Modern Warfare 2 boxers and some arch supporting socks. So all in all it was a very good year.
