I bought a fram ph3593 oil filter for a us integra gsr and its smaller than the one that came off the jdm engine. Is that the right one. What part # and oil filter is everybody else running with there b18c.

I would recomend staying away from Fram anything, napa's premium filter is real good. The USDM one should work. As said on inlinefours website (not the best info but it is info) the smaller size will yeild higher Oil pressure (they say 5 psi)

Just go up to your local Honda or Acura dealership, and tell them you need a few oil filters for your Civic/Integra. They are all the same part, and Honda filters come with a new crush washer for the drain plug on every filter.

Done. Be happy.

good brands (ones that have less chance of destroying your engine) are: hamps, bosch premium, mobil1, stp. prices vary, but they are all good. best are hamps and mobil1. this is based on an independent study of many filter's interior components. the worst ones are fram. honda oil filters are the same as fram IF they have the word "FILTECH" printed on them. that means they are the US made ones....and are crappy (cardboard in the media!). the ones that don't say FILTECH are the JDM honda filters, and are as good as the Hamps!
