oil pump differences... i'm goen CrAzY

    i bought a new proformance oil pump... i think they sent me an obd2 pump because the the timing belt cover dose fit correctly.. would this make a difference if i kept it, and just got a different timing cover... or do i have get the exact same one

    can't help you, I would never buy anything but an oem oil or water pump

    yea, the newer oil pumps are in fact different. im a believer they flow high volume but theres no proof of this.

    you will need to find a obd2 lower timing belt cover for your engine.

    the different on the oustide is for obd2's the crank angle sensor is mounting to the oil pump instead of being in the distributor.
