i work for a honda dealer in s.c i have a 2000 civic with a d16z single cam the owner states that the motor is a 93 still has 2000 intake with a leak at #4 intake port going to remove manifold and check gasket fit around port any problems i should be aware of ive been in the independent automotive world for 25yrs now and never really got into hot rodding but i love a good problem

Shouldnt have any issues,pull the old gasket put the new gasket on it and run it.

ok heres the fix above the main port there is a small port drill to fit a small ball bearing seal with sealer then set the hole with a small center punch around the edges
