overheating prob

today on my way home from work my car ( 90 civ hatch / 93 obd1 b18a) over heated and my heater never got even warm...its about 30 degress out....and my lower radiator hose is still cold as hell...
iam guessing thermistat...
any takers?

or what else could it be???

Thermostat is a most likely cause, also posibilities are coolant restrictions or the water pump itself. I'de say its a 99% chance its the thermistat though.

yeah even if its not though, its a good idea to replace, it will be your cheapest way out

replaced it today in the cold ass wether outside...(the thermistat)...
it was fine at idle for about 30 min...but now iam getting all worried it might be a head gasket...if it is ill be so pissed...but if it is i could prolly just retourq it...even still it would blow...
