i've had that happen with 2 cars, my escort i had in high school, it cost me 300 to tow because i was in the middle of nowhere in idah, and my girl did it to my crx, she ran it so out of oil it died and didn't she tell me,

Where's that old thread of the RSX that supposedly revved to 16k before it completely exploded from a shift from 5th to 1st? Those pictures were great.

i want to fucking see that! for some reason ive always wanted to do that, get a shitty car thats about to die anyway, disable the safety mechanism that prevents you from going into first above like 20 mph, and get it going like 50 and put that bitch in 1st and dump the clutch. im a little destructive if you cant tell, lol. but i would never do that to a honda, well not a good honda, maybe a 3rd gen prelude. and i dont have the money to blow justto blow up a car, lol.

A girl did that (well went to shift to 4th from 5th and it happened to be 2nd) here and blew her engine couple weeks ago, 01 celica. I didn't see the engine though but I heard it looked like shit. If someone has these pics the guys are talking about, post em. I wanna see.
