Lost in translation from English to English? lol

I know what ya mean, and I can't imagine going through two big quakes in two months, I just thought it sounded pretty damn negative.
 
Maybe I only watched the news when they found some semi-educated Haitians, but there were quite a few interviews where they were speaking pretty good english.
