P06 to P28?????????

ok guys i'm a little confused on this, i have a 00 si and i'm putting in a new motor. its a b16head with b18c block, the motor came with a P06 ecu. now i've heard different things on this. i know i need a conversion harness from obd2 to obd1, but am i better off getting a P28 or can i really just chip or mod the P06 to a P28? thanks ahead for the help.
 
from the picture you sent me, it looks like the ecu you have is a p28. that's what it said on the serial... why not just use the one i saw?
 
i am i just wasn't sure and when i first wrote you i hadn't opened up the ecu. thanks again for the help. like i said, if you ever need anything airbrushed, powdercoated or painted just let me know.
 
I will keep that in mind. ;) Nice Si by the way... you and Artie would get along great... haha... he's got one too. ;)
