p28 ecu problems

I just put in a d16z6 with a p28 computer in my car. When its cold, everything is fine. When it gets warm, a yellow light comes on and stays on. My vtec doesnt work at all. How do i jump the ecu wire or how do i go about fixing this?

you mean the check engine light comes on? there is a "service pin connector" behind the kick panel on the passenger side next to the ecu. if you can't find it look in your haynes manual or chiltons. all you do is take a paper clip and jump the two wires. if you look in the referance section there is a post about CEL codes that tells you what the codes are. if you still can't figure it out goto Schucks or somethign liek that, i tihnk they read codes for free.
