I'd guess auto. Most auto ECUs have a -A5X or greater. Most manuals are -A0X or -A1X

if you want to be positive, crack the cover.
you'll see a couple of 5-pin transistors labeled either "SK5151" or "SK5154"
Count them. You have one for vtec in a manual ECU, and a couple extra in an auto ECU.
