p2p, is this one manual or automatic

    Is this an automatic or manual ecu for a 99-00 civic d16y8? Here is the number 37820-p2p-a92 thanks

    I'd guess auto. Most auto ECUs have a -A5X or greater. Most manuals are -A0X or -A1X

    THAT IS STILL ONLY AN EDUCATED GUESS. Don't flame.

    if you want to be positive, crack the cover.
    you'll see a couple of 5-pin transistors labeled either "SK5151" or "SK5154"
    Count them. You have one for vtec in a manual ECU, and a couple extra in an auto ECU.
