p30 with a gsr?

    how good will it run i know it wont open up the secondary butterflies so since its not going to operate them can i just remove it out of the manifold?

    You can remove them and have a program retuned to make up for it... In stock form at WOT the P30 has more advance low cam than the p72 and less advance high cam (in vtec) than the p72, but the fuel will be sufficient enough... It just won't pull quite as hard top end... Idle will feel a little different, but should be fine... If anything just get it retuned for what you're doing... Or visit pgmfi.org to learn how to do it yourself... :)

    If you need a program for that setup, let me know, I can hook you up with one. Its a custom for the GSR running an ECU that doesn't control the IABs or secondary butterflies. We can match it to the specs of your motor as well. Drop me an email, rtzcom@yahoo.com
