p72 program in a p28 ECU

My B18C1 came with some mystery program in a p28 ECU. It doesn't have the origninal IM anymore, but I would like to run the stock p72 program for its fuel/timing maps. I don't have enough done to the motor to warrant running anythying else.

Will the butterfly engagement point in the p72 program make the ECU do anything weird? Or will the ECU just ignore it?

I suppose I could edit the program before I burn it, but it would be cool if I could just run with it as-is.

Any info/suggestions are greatly appreciated.

iab doesn't do anything. i don't have mine hooked up on a oem jdm p72.
get a re-flash/chip from some one here. several of our members could make you one.

I like that answer... thanks. I have a friend with a programmer and I just noticed that pgmfi.org has stock programs to download.



And I don't have a picture of the ECU handy.
