I say, fuck both of them. I'm neither a Democrat or a Republican. I don't fit in the comfy little modern day commie-pinko box of a Liberal nor am I a conservative. I think our Founding Fathers would be flat out disgusted with America today.

Says the man that's infatuated with street gangs.

I use this quote a lot and it fits perfectly here.

And another...

It seems to me that at the heart of the matter we should all be on the same side, but the reality is that we aren't even close. Democrats seem to want to take care of the country and Republicans seem to want to take care of themselves and their friends. Democrats are concerned with the people who are already here and Republicans are worried about people in PVS and mothers aborting unwanted pregnancy. Those are matters of personal morality, not government matters. We have Democrats who are willing to let Americans be Americans and then we have Republicans who want to legislate people into their own morality and way of thinking. Then we get to what is probably the biggest issue, taxes. Here's where we run into some problems. Democrats understand that taxes are needed for a government to run where Republicans seem to think that money grows out of thin air. Democrats want to spend the money on American citizens and Republicans would rather give themselves a 6% pay raise every year while cutting incoming revenue. Not spending more than you make is one of the first things you learn in high school econ but Republicans seem completely oblivious to this simple fact. Then we get to the "war". Democrats are listening to the Generals and calling for a change of plan while Republicans are ignoring our Generals and staying the course of shooting [blindly] from the hip.

Democrats are concerned with the people all ready here? See Democratic stance on illegal immigration please

Democrats want to make us more Marxist/ socialist. Republicans say "I'll take care of me and mine, yu take care of yu and yours". That is the free market society that makes America great.

Had our founding fathers seen what the Democrats want to do with this country they would have switched sides and helped the British

and to claim that only republicans contribute to our national debt is outside the boundaries of fucking reality. But hey, you're from California, what do you know of reality right?

Blanco how can I put this pleasantly enough for you, or rather pleasantly enough to not get banned by Sol. I'm really not actually interested in whether or not I've offended someone with no sense of reality. I could just claim you hallucinated if that were to ever happen.

I have no preconceived notions. I read the news paper, watch the news. I'm well educated on the issues and I know what America is because I still work for the betterment of my community. Understand politics? I'm the son of a politician, quit acting like a retard.

If you raise income taxes to provide this country with health care, only the middle/upper classes will actually pay for it. Low income families and unemployed people will get all the benefit and really do nothing to contribute.

Last year our gouverneur wanted to put a tax on Auto Insurance to help maintain the roads. It failed (and it should have) because only 6 out of 10 cars on the road have auto insurance. The only people paying the tax would have been productive members of society. People driving illegally would have gotton off scott free.

Are you poor? Do you need health care? This is America, pull yourself up by your fucking own shoelaces and stop blaming the government for "not helping you". Help your fucking self. My father is "working on his second million" and he used to catch fish so he wouldn't starve when he was a kid. He didn't need government systems to help him, he helped himself.

it's that way across the board, on many issues. You think the GOP believes money grows on trees? How do you expect to pay a fucking government health care system. It will be paid like everything else is, by the middle class citizen, it will lower their quality of life. That's why the middle class is disappearing, life is easier if you're poor.

I have no sense of reality? That's fucking hillarious. The only reality you know is what you've been brainwashed to believe. Soldier and son of Republican politician. Gee, I do wonder where your ideas and preconceived notions come from.

My father the politician can into office as mayor of a town that was dying from the receding timber industry. That was after COUNTLESS hours of community service to get himself in line to run for mayor in the first place. After getting down to business he, and the mayors who came after him (he's always been in the background since he left office) were able to land us a Walmart in the early 90's. Sounds dumb but it saved our town.

Now we have a super Wall-Mart, and Lowe's is building the largest commercial building in Oregon there. Over 700 family wage full time jobs with benefits. He also volunteers as a Lyon's club member, working to get eyeglasses to our lower income elderly and helping to over see a Organ Donor transport program which saves lives and lively hood daily. Oh yeah he also got a 7 million dollar fairground and amphitheatre which will draw further revenue for the city.

I was in the Air force, in fact after 911 I worked 16hr shifts as a security augmentee protecting satellite monitoring facilities in a foreign country. Probably while you were sitting on your ass smoking weed and listening to Bob Marley and hanging out with the street gangs your always so proud to talk about. LOL I swear, white culture's fascination with "being down".

Now that I'm out and making my way in the world I also contribute to society. I was on a board that allocated an additional $15,000 annually so help our Boys and Girls club grow to keep kids off the streets. I guess you could say that was a product of my "brainwashing".

I would argue that infact you sir are brainwashed, and for god sakes I hope they did the washing by hand as it would be far to small a load to warrant even the low water setting on most household washers.

My point is that many people (and I'm just going to go out on a limb and claim you are one of them Blanco) sacrifice NONE of their time to make this world better. You expect your government to do it, while claiming the government can't do anything right, and then blame the government when thing don't change.

Open minded? I've lived throughout the world, experienced shit way above your average joe. Have you even lived outside of California?

Government health care is wrong be cause it pays for childbirth and doesn't further educate teens to prevent teen pregnancy. It pays for health care for single mothers in urban communities without trying to figure out why father's are leaving their families.

Metaphor: When you treat a chronic pain with Advil you stay on Advil for the rest of your life and you only need more and more as time goes on.

Well doing that with health care by raising my taxes is unacceptable and YOU should be open minded enough, and smart enough, to understand that.
