other than the motor, trans, wiring harness, ecu, and motor mounts what else is there that i need to put a ls motor in a 88 crx dx
thanks

u need integra axles and the 1/2 shaft

conversion mounts

you don't need a wiring harness the only difference is that its MPFI istead of dual point but u can fairly easily wire up the other 2 injectors or jsut buy a kit for it

u'll have to remove the front motor mount as it won't fit

u'll either have to dent in the side wall where the crank pulley is or ( beter option) get a new lightweight pulley off ebay for like $80... they are cheap, very effective, and easy to put on when the engine is out

other than that jsut do basic maintance stuff while its out so its easy.... timing belt, maybee gaskets if the engine is hella old... just that junk

Don't get a lighytweight pully, they're not balenced correctly and are harmful to your motor. There have been quite a few threads about this lately. They cause unnessisary vibration and can damage the motor. Stick with the stock one.

or spend teh money to get the rotating assembly rebalanced.

You need wiring. You need DPFI to MPFI conversion. You need CRX HF or SI or OBD0 Integra injector resistor box. Search for this topic, its been covered about 874032893 times.

Dude, You dont have to dent in the firewall to make clearance for the crank pulley, You have to dent in the firewall to make clearance for the Alternator Pulley, DUH.

And Yes you should get a lightened pulley, It helps drastically.

and dude its not hte firewall its the the driver side frame rail. holly mis information

heres what ya gotta do...

same as b16 swap except the vtec wiring isnt involved on the ls motor.

ok, mounts (hasport etc), custom shift linkages (hasport etc), rewire for MPFI using the dx harness (or you can send the harness to ard performance), new clutch, timing belt, water pump, 90-93 integra axles mid shaft, PR4 ecu,

And it isnt the crank pully anyhow the crank pull is no where close to anything you dent the FRAME RAIL to allow room for the Alternator pulley/belt... sorry to correct you again.

and the face you used makes you sounds/look like a freakin pouting young child..
