w00t! That was at the 'Texas 10 under 20 Battle of the Bands' that we (and everyone else playing there) got screwed at...it was a fun show though....played most of the set with ZERO monitors whatsoever....

The DW isn't mine, it's the kit that was provided at the show...it was also a piece of shit. I couldn't hear ANYTHING. Nothing at all. Just me. Good thing I know the damn songs...It was probably the worst gear I've ever played on, the worst monitor setup, and I'd be willing to bet the front-of-house sounded like shit too. Bah.

No, I mean the kit was worn out. The wrap was peeling off, hardware was rusted, cymbal stands were junk, etc.

I didn't meet them, I saw them play though. They were AWESOME. If you see the kid, tell him the drummer from Joel Stop Him thinks they're AWESOME and wants a free CD. lol.
