if you look at your car from the back you will see a bar (or "arm") on each side that attaches to the car about a third of the way in and on the other end to the wheel hub... there is also a mounting point in the middle of the arm where the shock bolts to and if you are lucky enough to have a stock rear sway bar it will attach to the lower control arm as well

there are also lca's up front that do pretty much the same thing but they don't look much alike or bolt up the same way really

yeah, I was looking for one of those but didn't want to pay over a bill for a brand new one and I hadn't been able to pick one up in the $50 to $70 range so I went with the typeR and have no regrets.... plus it's an oem honda part.... can't go wrong there
