piston sizing

    this is starting to confuse me. Also pertaining to another post on oil consumption. Based on the larger bore size of the LS bottom end, which alternate OEM pistons are functional in an LS block. CTR, b16, ect. The ones I have seen just used the LS pistons and I haven't really had it come up. Calesta, pissedoffsol?

    The LS has the same bore (81mm) as all the other B series except the B20b/z (84mm). All of the OEM high comp b series pistons will fit the LS bore, but only B16 pistons will fit LS rods.
