I just made a bill collector hang up on me. 7 minutes 23 seconds.

    I'm getting good at it.

I fixed all my issues today by like, 9:20 this morning. I fixed my Pandora DNA streams. Drank much coffee. Had like 4 fucking cigs today and ate my soup.

And I keep hitting refresh on this forum because it's the most active online thing in my life.

I just got back from buying paint for a discounted price of $20 a gallon, damn this overpriced crap.
My 16x16 jam room(inspired by the drum set) has the primer coat on and I'm about to put the final color "Anonymous" up. It's a dark gray. It may be kinda depressing because it doesn't have any windows in it atm, but we'll see. I got a free 100 square ft of birch hardwood flooring for free, and I'll probably just cover the rest in linoleum or that other cheap tile crap. I'll probably make a thread considering I have a few pics of the room before, which shows how much fucking work I've put into this thing. I'm pretty excited, but I don't feel like painting atm so I jumped on the comp. I've been really busy mentally and physically and just haven't been doing a lot of browsing here over the past week.

I have an HSBC backed Visa card.

It's worked 3 times in the year that I've had it. So I did the usual, complain blah blah. They don't do a fucking thing. But they DID charge me for 5 re-issued cards, because they just reset the account when I call and complain. So it was $300 in charges from THEM and the card has been deactivated since February because I haven't paid the bill.

And they do the robot thing to me (I miss the days of insulting, personally offensive bill collectors like Mr Stone who threatened to take my car) where they just repeat and repeat ad nauseum about how I can make a small payment today and the card will be ready for use.

And I'm bored, and while they stopped being personally offensive, I did not.

And now they hang up on me.

    Yeah, I got fired.

This week we started to talk about training sessions offered in store. I would be the trainer. Briefly, we discussed pricing (We would ask for half the rate or so) in store, and how we would do it. Well this woman came in and needed training. So without my boss around, no way of charging for training and no pricing structure setup, I made a decision. This is usually where I lose my jobs.

I decided to train her off the clock - on my own time, in the store. And then at night I would make up the hour and let my boss know how things went, what we could do differently and what kind of topics were covered. So I did that, she gave me a 20 and went home.

That night my boss came in and we went over the sessions, I told him that because I didn't know what to charge, that I took my own time to do it, and will be keeping the $20 gratuity - while making up the hour that night.

    He agreed, sounded reasonable.

He went to his investor (who is of course, my boss too) and went over the financials for the week, andt he investor said that it appeared that I was stealing money. So they blamed me of stealing from the company.

And they even said "Well, basically you're stealing. And we can't trust you anymore, and if we can't trust you then you could have charged that woman $120 and pocketted the money" and that's around about when I flipped my lid. I would say "I quit" but he had the paperwork drawn up before I got into the office.

Oh and he said "You just haven't been the same since you broke up with your girlfriend"

    Several laws were broken here.
